NH Gran Hotel Casino de Extremadura is next to the Guadiana River, 10 minutes’ walk from Badajoz city centre and Alcazaba Fortress. It offers free WiFi and houses the Gran Casino de Extremadura. This hotel was lovely, the bedroom extremely comfortable with a huge bed. The hotel restaurant was excellent, with wonderful food and wines. The food was also great in the Casino bar. The staff were very efficient and helpful and the underground parking was excellent.

The hosts are just good human beings and are helpful in every way possible. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main plaza from which you can access restaurants and walk to the castle and other points of historical interest. Our room was very clean and and comfortable, the kitchen included oil and vinegar and salt and pepper and a nice assortment of pots and pans of a size useful to the two of us. They have a nice garden and pool area available for guests. We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and equipped with a table for 4. We liked to sit there in the afternoon. Oh! And READ the material IN ADVANCE that Herman has so helpfully prepared. It is clearly written, very useful and answered all my questions. Especially how to conveniently turn on the (shower) hot water just when you need it (saves energy<3).

Nabídka zdarma Casa Rural con encanto "Los Postigos" je zrekonstruovaný dům z 19. století s Wi-Fi. It was so lovely to arrive to an open door and a friendly greeting from a delightful host! The room was lovely and breakfast the next day was provided with a smile. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The house and garden are beautiful as is the town! The views from the lovely first floor terrace over the garden and out to the hills were magical. This is a family home now converted to rooms with bathrooms and is a family-run business. There is obvious attention to small details - and we enjoyed meeting Amos, who grew up in the house and gave us a tour of the house and garden, and manages it with his parents, as well as his father and Pascal who works there. A really special place! We were sorry we could not stay more than one night. And the Via Verde above the town is stunning to bike and walk.

This place dedicated to music and jazz is absolutely unique and created and managed with passion and love...Here everything is linked with Jazz. We have slept in the room Duke Ellington and it was more than amizing!. A necessary place to stay in an incredible friendly village!

The owner was very nice and told us everything about the place. The rooms are nicely decorated and all the place is very beautiful. We had the chance to use the outdoor pool and had a very calm and great time!
