The country-style Hotel Històric is in Girona’s old town, just 100 metres from Girona Cathedral. It offers soundproofed rooms with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Everything. Xavier was very friendly, and gave us very good tips about the city, places to visit and the best restaurants. And he made a great breakfast in the morning! The place is just perfectly renewed, clean, with a great atmosphere and the location is just excellent.

We arrived very late at night, around 1 a.m., and were welcomed warmly by the night receptionist, who even offered us his own parking spot, an incredible gesture. From that moment on, every member of the staff was exceptionally kind and professional, truly setting the standard for hospitality. The location is unbeatable: right across the street from the beach, with a quiet road in front and plenty of shops nearby. There’s even a private tunnel that takes you directly to the beach – a top highlight. The hotel is freshly renovated, clean, and modern. Our sea-view room had a large balcony with comfortable furniture, and it was magical to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Breakfast was outstanding; fresh, varied, and delicious. Definitely worth choosing the breakfast-inclusive option. The pool area, right next to the restaurant, made it easy to enjoy a swim, a drink, or a snack in a relaxed atmosphere. In short: excellent staff, superb location, top-notch amenities, and a wonderful atmosphere. A solid 10/10. I would absolutely stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It’s in a quiet location, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, which made it feel peaceful but still close enough to the seaside. The staff were kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. A great place to stay if you want both comfort and easy access to the beach
