Staff were incredibly friendly - especially the women who checked us out. We brought a large dog and they were very accommodating towards us. Such spacious rooms with the most amazing beds! Would definitely stay here again :)

MacKays is a high-quality, 4-star guest house, which is exclusively for adults. The award-winning property stands out on Oban's beautiful seafront, with uninterrupted views of the busy harbour. Great location. Clean and comfortable. Back gate leading to lovely walk was a bonus. Sherry was a nice touch .

We had lovely days at the Argyll Hotel. Great big room, nicely decorated, cosy bed and linen. We didn't miss anything. The restaurant offers great food, regional but with a modern light touch. And the breakfast doesn't leave any wish open. Our dog loved the beach on the doorstep. We really enjoyed our days at Argyll Hotel. Thanks Ian and Nick and team. We will come back 🤗
