Just 1 mile from Durham Rail Station and city centre, the Radisson Blu Durham has fantastic views of Durham Cathedral. It offers stylish rooms, free WiFi, a restaurant, bar and modern health club. Location is excellent for visiting Durham city. Staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful allowing us to check in early. There was a lovely touch, of complimentary pastries and a congratulatory note, for our son who was graduating.

In scenic Croxdale, the Honest Lawyer Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel just 5 minutes’ drive from Durham centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was good too with the option to be able to bath or shower which is a plus. Very clean. There were tea/coffee making facilities and somewhere for hanging coats and clothes. Very easy access to the rooms. Breakfast was very good. Good parking.
