It was so lovely to meet John and Steph, a real delight. It was great the get some history of the area and excellent recommendations for walks and places to eat. As the other reviews said, the breakfast was also a highlight of our stay. So delicious! And watching the birds whilst having breakfast was just joyful. A real gem of a place, thoroughly recommended to everyone.

Cottage Lodge Hotel se nachází ve viktoriánské vesnici Brockenhurst, uprostřed národního parku New Forest. Tato okouzlující rezidence ze 17. Cottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.

Set in Brockenhurst, a 25-minute drive from Southampton, The Huntsman of Brockenhurst is a forest inn dating back to the 13th century that has undergone a major refurbishment. This is an absolute gem of a place! Delicious food, cosy ambiance, beautiful environment and rooms. All the staff are amazing, shout out to the owners who were impeccable with service, amiable, warm and welcoming. Thank you! 😁

In Sway, within the beautiful New Forest, The Manor at Sway features leafy gardens and a traditional restaurant. Its luxury bedrooms are set in a grand Edwardian house. Very cute hotel. Breakfast was quite nice. Comfortable room with very clean facilities. Staff were all very kind.

Woodlands Lodge Hotel je soukromý 3hvězdičkový venkovský hotel na idylickém místě na okraji New Forest. Lovely hotel. Perfect room for a family of 5 and very large with all the facilities. Amazing location in the new forest. Garden was very nice as well. The children loved it! We didn’t have breakfast but we had dinner and it was very good, even though kitchen closes at 8.30pm. Would really love to stay here again as it is everything as described and more.
