I love the beautiful stone walls and lovely decor. The owner, Kostas is very sweet and helpful. The room was cleaned daily and had a lovely shared veranda. It's close to everything in town. It's also very quiet except for the occasional donkey or rooster 😂

Just 100 metres from Hydra Port, this renovated mansion provides a unique base in a peaceful setting with a charming courtyard and free wireless internet access. Location was great for access to everything. Old style hotel with modern clean rooms. You're in the neighborhood which is cool. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of options. We would stay there again:)

Historic and beautiful hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the decor is traditional and beautiful. We arrived at the hotel before check-in time, but they prepared a room for us. Breakfast in the beautiful courtyard was wonderful. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a wonderful stay at Hydra, thank you for everything.

Excellent place, everything was amazing from staff to room, location, breakfast. We simply have no words to describe the incredible experience we had here. Definitely a place we will revisit. The views, room amenities, staff helpfulness are all pluses to the Hotel Hydra. When I chose the hotel, I knew it was up a long path with many stairs. However, the views at the hotel and the surrounding sights made the walk worth it. The signage is good so it is difficult to get lost. The area around the hotel has an historic mansion and the family home of a famous artist. Both were excellent and interesting visits.
