We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

Dun Ri was so very clean, the owners and staff were kindly attentive, and the breakfast offered was exquisite. This is exactly the type of family operated accommodation it is a pleasure to support with your business. Book without hesitation.

Buttermilk Lodge offers self-catering apartments 5 minutes' walk from Clifden town centre, you can just park your car and easily walk to town. The B&B was a little apartment, equipped with absolutely everything needed for a short stay. It was perfectly organized, a fresh brown bread and a fruit cake made by the owner was a nice surprise on arrival. Very good location, you can walk to the town, at the same time local attractions like Sky Road Loop or Kylemore Abbey are easy to reach by car. Absolutely perfect place for a stay.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, the views were amazing, and the food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious. The rooms were charming and clean, and the location in the center of Roundstone was perfect for exploring the Connemara area. I highly recommend this property.

Very very roomy, comfortable king size bed, quiet, price very reasonable. No breakfast but coupon given for €10 breakfast at downtown hotel which we used and was very good. Front desk person gave good advice to our questions. On edge of town but 1 km walk to the Station bar.

The Alcock and Brown hotel in Clifden is a central and cosy hotel offering a dedicated welcoming service in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very generous and kind and we had everything needed for our stay and we really appreciated the small details like the coffee stand and water bottles in the room. The hotel is very cosy and clean, great for a get away with your couple.

Offering a private beach area, Connemara Sands is located in Mannin Bay, just a 10-minute drive from Clifden. Free WiFi access is available and the property offers free parking. Lovely location and decor with a wonderful spa with seaweed baths. Great beach with sauna and food truck. The restaurant is five star! A gem.
