Located in the old French town along Suffren Street, Villa Shanti is just a 3-minute walk from the famous Promenade Beach. Location, service, ambiance and food were all top notch. Especially the service from staff across restaurant, housekeeping and front desk.

Originally built to serve as the mayor’s residence, this 5-star heritage property is surrounded by a garden and is a 5-minute walk from Pondicherry Beach. Very tasty food, courteous and friendly staff, routinely enquiring about the food, stay and anything else that they could help us with. Need to specially mention Sunita at the front desk, Padmini, Aswathi, Ana and all the others whose names I don’t know. Will definitely stay here and recommend this place to everyone.

The swimming pool on the roof was a real bonus and had stunning views of the city. Couldn't fault it.
