Built over 175 years ago within the city of Jaipur as the royal family manor, Samode Haveli reflects the style and elegance of the royals. A special feature of the Haveli is the elephant ramp. The haveli was very beautiful and the staff helpful and attentive. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

EVERYTHING!! From the moment we (my husband and I) stepped on the ground, we fell in love with the place. It was already wee in the morning when we arrived but still Babu ( manager I guess ) greeted us warmly..🥲..Check in went on fast and smooth as we were already exhausted from a 12 hours train journey..😭😓..We were offered the best room they had and when we went in, all our tiredness and sleep went away. The room was extraordinary beautiful with different colours and the designs on the wall was so pretty that I felt like staying in it for the rest of my life!! 😁.. The room had an extra space outside before it opens to another empty area (like a balcony but more spacious) which had stairs that led us to their small clean garden and swimming pool. Breakfast was also included and of course the choices were many and the taste was delicious. We had dinner on our last night and we regretted that we did not had more of it. Their cook is definitely an excellent cook!! ✌🏼😃.. The whole place can be used as an excellent place for photography because it’s EXTRAORDINARY BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL, and the most important part is the people in it. They were helpful, informative, honest and respectful. I can continue commenting but I got to stop now..😅..You may a Google it and I will surely give my appreciation and thanks to each one of you!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Tento okouzlující hostel se nachází v historickém centru a má výhled na slavné jezero Pichola. Hostel Mantra je zařízen v tradičním rážasthánském havajském stylu a má střešní terasu a restauraci. Having been in catering and hospitality all my life I have high standards of expectation and hostel Mantra did not disappoint. Initial communication was very good. When you arrive at a property even late at night you want a warm greeting so be prepared for the most friendly, chatty ( yes she can talk) and just bubbly personality of Jairja. We had an en-suite double room which was very clean, comfortable bed and a good size. Up on the roof is the bar, restaurant and relaxing area and wow what a view of the lake and Udaipur. We celebrated Diwali here with fireworks from our roof as well as everyone around. What makes this such a special place and ranks alongside our favourite ever hostel The Laughing Leopard in Sri Lanka is the staff. From the three Amigos lads who kept it all tidy to Ashish who headed the team and all those in between they kept the place buzzing with stuff going on from early morning bike ride to the hills for sunrise to an epic Kareoke night. Now we are in our 60’s in fact I’m nearer 70 but we were included in all that went on and still found places to relax. Bear in mind this was Diwali. If you want a boring hotel room don’t stay here. They also have dorms.

The management and the staff hospitality were great from the onset of the trip until the very end of it. The food, the location, and the stay were exquisite. The management was very hospitable and took great effort in providing us with a great travel and stay experience.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and we'll appointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location in the heart of the old city. I would thoroughly recommend this place to other travellers

Located in Jaipur City’s Bani Park, this majestic 18th century heritage style hotel offers spacious rooms with intricate furnishings, exceptional mirror artwork and free WiFi access. We came back to Jaipur after 10 years and selected the same hotel than then because we had good memories of it. It is still that beautifully decorated palace we remembered. The restaurant has even improved and they have now far more options in the menu and we had the tastiest food we got in or entire travel through India.
