She showed us to our beautiful room in an old matera house. The hotel has an amazing aesthetic that resonates well with the city. The breakfast is also very much appreciated with nice music.

Matera is a very challenging place to park, but we got great advanced information and a very convenient shuttle. The cave room is perfection. It is large and comfortable with a front patio area that contains a small table and chairs to admire the incredible view.

It's a very nice hotel, a former house by a famous architect from Matera. We spent the night in two very nice comfortable rooms. The beds are super comfortable. Parking is free. Thank you to the nice, professional, and very helpful receptionist who gave us a map of this splendid town and highlighted the best places to visit and restaurants to eat.

One of the most unique and amazing experiences one could have! Anyone must stay at least for a night in a cave room and that room is probably one of the best. The room was clean, with an amazing bed, great atmosphere and hot tub and sauna were adding a lot to the whole experience. The staff was also very helpful! Reason to visit Matera again in the future.

L'Arturo B&B was centrally located in the picturesque old town of Matera with wonderful views over the sassi. Arturo and Monica were wonderful hosts - incredibily kind and helpful and went out of their way to assist us with taxis and recommendations for restaurants. Monica warned us beforehand not to bring big suitcases as there are many stairs down to the guest house. They kindly helped us with our luggage. The decoration of the room was quirky and modern and contrasted with the beautiful and well renovated old building Our room was very spacious with a nice terrace with a table and chairs. Restaurants and shops were all within walking distance from the guest house. The breakfast on the terrace with a view was scrumptious with fresh pastries, bread, cheeses, tomatoes,fruit, cereals, jogurt,milk ,coffee, water, and juice - so much to choose from.
