Hotel Pacific Kanazawa is located just a 15-minute walk from JR Kanazawa Train/Bullet Train Station. Free WiFi and a bicycle rental service are available on site. Tucked in a quiet street, a few minutes away from Kenrokuen and Omochi Market. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it. I will come back.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Great view right in the room with most of Mt Fuji. Good balcony to sit on and enjoy the view. Could be a bit small for a family with some large luggage. Meals included in the price are Japanese style and good.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. I had a 2 night stay in Konanso. The staff is very welcoming and polite, maybe it helps that i speak Japanese. However, they also speak English. Rooms are spacious, clean and with wonderful views. There is a person in charge of your stay that will bring you dinner each night and ask if you need anything. Dinner served at the bedroom is delicious, and the onsen is gorgeous. Would recommend 10/10. Breakfast is also excellent, with western and japanese food.

Offering beautiful Mount Fuji views from all rooms, public baths, and restaurants, Mizno Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It is a beautiful hotel with unique interior, very clean and confortable rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fantastic view of Mt Fuji.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. The lodging was excellent with the ultimate Japanese experience. The room had every immensity possible and the bed was really comfortable. We would differently stay here again.

Just a 2-minute walk from Takayama Station, Oyado Koto No Yume offers Japanese-style rooms with a colourful touch. Excellent location near Takayama station, attentive staff, great onsen facilities and breakfast. There isn't much to do in Takayama after a certain hour in Winter but that is ok, since the ryokan has a very inviting area where you can relax, read, try calligraphy and origami, have some tea... I left my mobile phone in the room and enjoyed the entertainment provided there, completely agnostic of the outside world. Great way to disconnect!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Great traditional Japanese style tatami room. It was clean, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff were great, and the food was amazing. Private outdoor bath was an amazing experience. 10/10 will return one day

Surrounded by four gardens that change colours throughout the seasons, Kanazawa Sainoniwa Hotel offers spa facilities and an on-site restaurant. It was amazing. Truly a hidden gem

Great location north of Fuji and lake Kawaguchi. Fantastic views of the mountain, restaurants and sightseeing all around, helpful staff, nice private onsen, spacious and comfortable villa.
