Piece Hostel Sanjo offers private and dormitory rooms in the heart of Kyoto. The hostel was very clean, staff were exceptional, bed was comfortable, shared spaces were spacious and cozy as well. The lights that show which baths are taken are very convenient. Free Early and late luggage drop-off and storage are very convenient as well.

Hotel Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei se nachází 10 minut chůze od živé čtvrti Kawaramachi a nabízí moderní japonské ubytování. V přízemí je k dispozici přepážka s turistickými informacemi a bar. Ubytování se nám moc líbilo, pokoj byl čistý a hezký. Koupelna prostorná. Měli jsme i balkón. Spaní bylo pohodlné. Kousek od hotelu byla vlaková stanice, lékárna a obchody. Pokoj se pravidelně uklízel. Personal příjemný, vždy úsměv na tváři. Hotel byl v dobré lokalitě a byl zde klid. Hotel nabízel různé aktivity. Nemám co bych vytkla.

Guesthouse Soi má ideální polohu, jen 10 minut chůze od kultovního chrámu Kiyomizu-dera. Nabízí různé pokoje, včetně soukromých pokojů v japonském stylu a společných pokojů. The location is great, easy access to everything you need! The rooms are so unique and have everything you need. The staff speak great English and are extremely friendly and helpful! This place is a gem!

Opening in March 2014, Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei offers accommodations with a modern yet traditional décor. I like their spa, it has CO2 in it which makes you feel like you’re sitting in a tub filled with coke. Quiet neighbourhood.

The staff was great, they helped us deliver the phone my father forgot in the bullet train to the hostel, which at the Lost and Found office told us is going to be very difficult for an accomodation to do. The place is very clean, showers are separated in sort of mini rooms so there is a lot of privacy. There are dyson hair dryers which was unexpected for a 2 star hostel. The beds were comfortable as well. Location is walking distance from the main station and was very practical.

Breakfast is super tasty, lot's of options and good coffee. Rooms are big and nicely decorated. The staff has good English and an amazing service attitude - Simply beyond expectations. Location was great- just near the Kyoto station but without hearing any noise. We hope to return

The Screen je butikový hotel, který se nachází pouhé 3 minuty chůze od kjótského císařského paláce a nabízí luxusní pokoje s jedinečným designem. This hotel was fantastic. There was a review that said this place was in the middle of nowhere “with nothing around it”. This hotel is literally across the street from the Kyoto Imperial Palace and Gardens, and surrounded by streets of bakeries and restaurants. It only took us about 15 minutes to get to the Gion district. The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and sweet, and the room was beautiful and huge.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. Loved it! From the warm reception to the comfortable bedding and all the personal touches. The Onsen was beautiful and even the PJs provided were so cute I bought them 😃

Since I put a foot inside the hotel, everyone was super nice towards me. The staff is really there for you for anything that you need. I was allowed to use the public bath even when I was tattoed! It amazed me how the managed to make such a traditional hotel in the hearth of the city. The breakfast was sublilme and, to be honest, I'm not a tea guy, but I enjoyed having the tea ceremony and even liked the taste of the tea! At the end, they gave me a little gift that included pictures of me wearing the yukata.
