Featuring a classic European-style decor, The Ritz-Carlton Osaka is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from JR Osaka Station and a 5-minute walk from Nishi-Umeda Subway Station. Everything went well. Right from check in to check out. The staff was just excellent. The staff at the Lounge Bar and at the Splendido restaurant were extremely warm and were always looking after us. The Concierge, the bell staff and room service everyone as just excellent. Mr. Simon Finch was super welcoming and very warm and ensured our needs were met.

Re-opening in July 2014 after a thorough renovation, HOTEL RELIEF Namba Daikokuchou is located in Osaka. Free WiFi access is available. A really surprising place, in a good but not crowded area. Very good reception (tiny but), and great layout with rooms around a void. Pretty good sized room for the price. We were there for three nights and it worked out well for two people. The real surprise is the nicely set out (more than basic) free breakfast that is available (I'm sure I didn't see it advertised when I booked), as well as ICECREAM ALL DAY!! It's a really nicely set up foodie area open all the time. (And yes some free (safe) alcohol at night). Oh yes - location is very good - 500 m. accessible to metro, so really no need for (very expensive) taxi from airport, which takes Osaka's weird above ground great circle route!

Community mall opposite the hotels have multiple selections of food but they don't open later than 11 pm. The bath inside the room is the best thing because you can switch the to mineral water or tap water. The room has a fire exit down below the window where you can escape outside and get out of the building from a secure balcony. The Fukushima JR is right next to the hotel (loop line). Love everything! Shared onsen opens from 10 am to 10 pm so I didnt get a chance to experience since I went out early and come back late. LOL!!! They don't allow people of ink to the shared onsen. 3 minimarts outside the hotels 7-11, Lawsons and other I can't recall.

Opened in March 2014 just a 5-minute walk from Higobashi Subway Station, Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier has been listed in the Michelin Guide for 3 consecutive years. Our room is the correr and we loved! Staff is very very kind, we have some problems to send our luggage because the destiny hotel but they help us with everything. Domo arigato gozaimassu! The room is very very clean. We loved it.
