Set in a bright, colonial-style building, Casa Tia Micha offers attractive rooms with free Wi-Fi. Located in the centre of Valladolid, it is less than 5 minutes’ walk from San Gervasio Church. This hotel was beautiful and the staff were beyond amazing. We got sick just before we arrived in Valladolid and the staff at Tia Micha went above and beyond to look after us. Great location right by the town square. Beautiful breakfasts in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel, very clean, close proximity to everything, we never took any taxis and just walked to town every evening. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, quick response to special requests. The only downside was the bar and very limited selection of drinks.

Offering direct access to Playa Norte Beach, on the beautiful island of Holbox, Holbox by Xaloc features luxurious rooms and bungalows with terraces. The overall experience is well worth it. I think they fit more into the category of a very good inn than a hotel, but that wasn't a problem. The location is one of the strong points, right on the beachfront and very close to downtown Holbox. The beach in front of the hotel is clean, free of rocks and seaweed, so you can enjoy the sea right in front of the hotel. The room is large and comfortable, although a small investment in some amenities could improve the experience inside. We stayed in the apartment, but there are also bungalows. The hotel has two swimming pools: one for adults only, in front of the beach and with a bar, and one at the back of the property, which is for families. We didn't use the adult pool with the bar, only the children's pool. The only downside is that there are few chairs and loungers. And if you stay in a bungalow near the family pool, you'll hear children playing all day. Breakfast is a huge plus; you can choose from a variety of dishes, from Mexican favorites to more traditional options like eggs and fruit. The portions are generous, so if you're traveling with your family, you can mix and match and everyone can have a little bit of everything. Tahamara, the staff member, was very attentive.

The location is the best it’s exactly at the centre, you have many restaurants and store’s around. It’s super safe and near everything. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are clean and comfortable they clean them every day.

This Antigua Guatemala Hotel Posada de la Luna is located in the city centre 50 metres from the Mercado de Artesanias handcraft market. Lovely little boutique hotel on the outskirts of the centre. Staff were super friendly and eating breakfast in the courtyard each morning was a delight. Cleaned to the highest of standards and has a real homely feel. You have to ring the bell on the gate to gain entry and it feels incredibly safe. We loved everything about Antiqua and our stay at Posada de la Luna.

Weezie’s Oceanfront Hotel and Garden Cottages is a boutique hotel located on the eastern shore of Caye Caulker with views of the barrier reef. Free WiFi is available. Super cool property with amazing staff that were kind enough to show us around the place and took us to our room. Shoutsout to Roberto and Alonzo!!

Offering free WiFi, this Mérida Hotel La Piazzetta is located on Mejorada square and 230 metres from Museo De la Canción Yucateca and just a few blocks from the Cathedral, market and Paseo Montejo. Amazing hotel, maybe the best we’ve tried - the hotel itself is super nice (comfortable rooms, extremely cozy common areas), but the main draw is the owner, Leo. He sat us down and drew our everywhere to see, eat and drink in detail on a map, and checks in on us every morning (while serving free coffee and custom juice). Highest recommendations
