Nestled within beautifully landscaped grounds, Shambaling Hotel is a charming refurbished house from the 70s. I could book the room with 50% reduction so it was very good value for money, I really appreciated the heating function that was possible through the AC system, the kettle to make tea in the room, the cosy interior design and the helpfulness of the staff.

The staff was courteous and professional, the room was clean and spacious, the breakfast was rich and luxurious. We would be happy to come back again at any opportunity.

This was the third time I have stayed in this property. It feels like you are in your own home. Staffs are very friendly, accommodating, caring and courteous. Let me give you an example of its caring staff. “For the breakfast, they serve you with two slices of toasts. Since I was cutting down carbs, I asked the lady at front desk to send me only one slice of toast because I didn’t want to waste food. After few days, she brought me two slices of toasts and told me that the size of the bread on that particular day was kind of smaller, and she thought one smaller piece wouldn’t be enough. That just brought a big smile in my face.” Even the dog at the property is so kind, it likes to welcome all the guests each time they arrive. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Nepal.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options to start the day right. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is very convenient not far from the main attractions, yet peaceful and quiet, making it perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the area!

A Hotel Shanker-Palatial Heritage Kathmandu szálloda Katmanduban található, a Narayanhiti Palota Múzeum mellett. Szabadtéri uszodával és gyógyfürdővel várja a vendégeket. I always stay in Shanker when I’m in Nepal. Pool area is splendid and breakfast includes all we need, even coffee was very good.

Set in Kathmandu, 1.5 km from Hanuman Dhoka, Shangrila Boutique Hotel offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Location is perfect in the middle of Thamel and close to some attractions to do even by foot. Room is spacious. Bed was comfy and lockers were wide. Staff were so nice and helpful. Free Breakfast was the best part of the stay (nice variety of a menu à la carte). I also liked the tour guide services they offer for extra fees.
