Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and Free WiFi, Le Chalet Suisse Motel Taupo is just a 2-minute walk from New Zealand’s largest lake, Lake Taupo. Good location near to the centre and the lake. We were staying over Christmas and were kindly given a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates. Very clean and all in all lovely property.

Located on the edge of Lake Taupo, The Cove- On The Lake offers luxury rooms with satellite TV and either fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes. What a pleasure it was to stay at The Cove. The manager could not have been more accommodating, simply excellent service. The room was lovely, well appointed. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available. We really like that you can come and go to the pools all day, and that they are such a short walk from the rooms. We also like the chairs in the shade around the pools.

Suncourt Hotel & Conference Centre offers spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park. Beautiful place, right on the Lake. We had a lakefront studio and the room was beautiful, immaculate, comfortable and had a great view from the balcony. The whole place was beautiful and the staff we met friendly and helpful. The food was the best dinner we have had since visiting NZ!
