Situated on a hill above Portorož and surrounded by Mediterranean flora, Hotel Tomi offers an exceptional view of the bay and sea-orientated rooms with a balcony. A restaurant can be found on-site, while an outdoor terrace features a swimming pool overlooking the sea. The hotel is altogether very nice, a 5 min (downhill) walk to the beach, great views over the sea. The rooms are nice, the swimming pool is great. Nice breakfast, nice and helpful staff - highly recommended!

The Vila Piranesi Apartments occupies a historic building between the sea shore and the old town centre of Piran in Slovenian Istria, offering modernly furnished apartments with air-conditioning and views of the town. Sightseeing and tours of the city can be organised upon request. BEST "room" we had in all of Slovenia and Croatia. Newly updated with all modern amenities, PLUS it had a ton of charm. We got an "attic" room with skylights and beautiful built-ins. Check-in was easy; directions to free car park. Besides being the best stay, it was also the least expensive.....we highly recommend this place!!!
