Star Villa provides a relaxing stay in Nantou, just a 5-minute drive from Chingjing Farm. Guide tour of stars was wonderful.

Lo Skylight B&B si trova nel villaggio aborigeno Ita Thao, vicino al famoso Lago Riyue. It really is a great hotel — we loved our stay. The location is extremely convenient, right in the heart of the shopping district: the moment you step outside, you're surrounded by food stalls and restaurants (in a Taiwanese night market style). I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as the complex light settings in the room, the laundry basket thoughtfully placed in the bathroom, the WiFi password stickers (so you don’t have to get up to check it), the local Assam black tea bags, and the beautifully presented breakfast. The bathroom feels larger than the room itself and features a large hot spring tub that's perfect for soaking and relaxing. There is car parking available, but it's about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, as the area directly in front of the hotel is not accessible by car.

Cherry Feast Resort is located in Yuchi, very close to the bank of Sun Moon Lake. Yidashao Pier is only a 5-minute walk away. The property offers free parking and free WiFi access in all areas. The location is great and easy to find. They have their own parking area as well. The room was also very quiet. I could not hear any outside noise. The air conditioning worked very well on a hot day.

Il Cingjing Vienna Pleasance Cottage si trova a 1 minuto di auto dalla fermata dell'autobus Dinyuan Xincun. Offre splendide camere con balcone privato e vista sulla montagna. Upon entrance, the place makes you feel relaxed. The room is clean and the Japanese toilet is a must because there's a lot of good food around the area (hahaha). The cottage is 3-5 minutes walk to Swiss Garden and the reception will help you book tables for the restaurants should you choose to eat at those places. The cleanliness and amenities of the room were excellent. There were rubber slippers that were very comfortable to wear and the fridge was definitely useful since we bought chocolates at Cona's. The free breakfast was very healthy and heavy! If Taiwan's slogan was "Heart of Asia" I guess the heart of our stay was Mr. Ling. Mr. Ling was very generous in sharing information of the bus schedules and business hours of the tourist attractions. We missed our bus going to Cingjing Farm and Mr. Ling drove us to Cingjing Farm - his gesture was definitely something our family will not forget. He keeps on saying his English is not good but we do think it's good. His services and hospitality are things that we miss in Taiwan. With such services and amenities, we will definitely be back.

Situated by the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, Lea Lea Garden Hotels offers rooms with breathtaking lake and/or mountain views. It also features an indoor swimming pool, gym and on-site restaurant. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast at sister hotel.

Located in Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, 10-minute walk from Sun Moon Lake Ropeway Station, The Crystal Resort Sun Moon Lake provides modern accommodation with free in-room WiFi in Yuchi. My room was clean and large, with a spa and the lake view. The young lady at the reception was very helpful and managed to arrange my return.
