  “We arrived at Hotel la Vista on Halloween night. This spot is beach party central for surfers. Yes, there was noise although we expected the activity arriving on a major holiday weekend in Ecuador. The hotel is on the Malecón and the surf sounds a lovely way to go to sleep. The property is private with a parking area off the street, and the facilities clean and quite beautiful. We just booked one night and decided to stay for two. The Canoa beach is so clean, long and beautiful in front of Canoa, although it goes all the way to Bahia. About 7 miles. The staff is helpful, the breakfast delicious and the pool sparkling clean. For families with children it is ideal for beach fun and playing in the pool. Don’t miss Canoa and a stay at the “Vista”.”

The hotel itself is beautiful, and clean. The location could not be better, with a beach front with awesome waves for surfing, or you can relax in one of the hammocks. It is a short walk along the beach to get to town. The staff are awesome, super fun and relaxed. We really loved it here. The only terrible part was having to leave :)”

  “The location was perfect! Right on the Main Street but not totally in the main action AND with a great view of the beach. Tomas and Angie were the best of the best and took great care of me. I enjoyed sharing some fun with them. I loved my room on the top floor with a hammock, and table and chairs outside facing the ocean. Spent lots of time there happily watching and listening to the ocean. Although the water pressure in the shower isn't the greatest, I think that's pretty normal around here and got the job done. There was ALWAYS plenty of hot water, though. The rate is incredible for what you get. Loved that they had beers for $2 and big jugs of water that lasted me for days for $1.75. I want to go back!”
