  “We really loved our stay. We were in a stand alone apartment, and appreciated the space. Breakfasts were really good and extremely filling; dinners were also really good and our family appreciated the variety. We loved the hot tea that came ahead of dinner...it was so delicious. The staff was really friendly- all smiles and sweetness. We enjoyed horseback riding and a Cotopaxi hike from the location. Be sure to give yourself a day to acclimate before going for a hike. We met one couple who was there for several nights, hiking a higher elevations each day in preparation for a full Cotopaxi climb- that speaks to the Hosteria's super location for climbing enthusiasts. Also, take advantage of the hot tub, especially after a hike! Another nice touch were two sitting rooms, one with a T.V (great for catching World Cup games) and one with a number of board games. We arrived by taxi but left by bus, and it was easy to do so...don't expect a schedule or a "bus stop" though!”

  “We wanted to stay for 3 or 4 nights and ended up staying there for almost two weeks because of the protests in Ecuador. We are sure it was the best place to stay in this situation. The owners are very lovely and helpfull. They helped us with the laundry and with activities in the area. There are some nice hikes around (El Corazon, Ilinizas, Cotopaxi National Parc, Pasochoa...). The village is cute and there are some good equiped shops. We loved the kitchen with the oven.”
