  “On the way to Atyrau I had a minor accident that resulted in some damage to my motorcycle. In passing, one of the hotel staff members said ‘nice bike’ as I was contemplating how to get the damage repaired so I could continue my journey. I explained the situation and the staff immediately offered to help. This resulted in the Food and Beverage manager, Nurbolat, and the Technical Manager, Talgat, spending most of the day with me taking me to at least ten different shops all over Atyrau to buy parts, and then they worked on the motorcycle to make sure I could continue my journey. They even ran me to the bank so I could change money. There is no doubt that the culture within the Dastan Hotel means the staff go way beyond the call of duty to make sure their clients are looked after. Without Nurbolat and Talgat I would not have been able to get my bike repaired, so I shall be forever grateful. And by the way, the hotel and the rooms are immaculate, and the food fantastic. I can highly recommend staying here. What an incredible service. John B.”
