The accommodation is in an excellent location, transport from there is well connected to all important places in Malta. The room is clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a lovely balcony, and there is a very cute cafe on the ground floor with very friendly staff and a great selection of food and drinks.

Good location - everything you need is close. Staff was very kind and friendly. Bed was sooo comfy. Everyday someone came to clean our room and made our bed, even our personal staff was organized, we hoped that the same thing happend at home, but unfortunately no 🥲😄

    The district is very practical, close to boats and ferry, the harbor promenade is plenty of life yet 10 min drive by ferry to Valletta where most of cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities happens.

    It is a good location with easy access by bus or taxi to Valletta and good views of Valletta across the harbour. It doesn’t have a beach but we got the bus over to Fond Ghadir beach (flat rocks not sandy) and the Roman baths cut into the rock, which was good fun. We ate at Tiffany’s and the Michelin rated Ayubowan, both excellent.

    Il-Gżira was the perfect place to stay during my trip to Malta. It's centrally located with easy access to everything, and staying here gave me the flexibility to explore the island properly. If you're planning your itinerary, I highly recommend starting with a harbor cruise that includes the Three Cities, it's a beautiful and relaxed way to understand Malta’s history and layout. From there, hop-on hop-off buses are a great way to see the main sights around the island at your own pace. Next, don’t miss the full-day cruise to Gozo and Comino. The crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon are as amazing as they look in photos, and Gozo’s charm is well worth the visit. One thing to note: most tour flyers in Sliema leave out two absolute must-see, the St. Peter’s Pool Beach, a natural rock formation perfect for swimming and cliff diving, and Popeye Village, a quirky, colorful film set-turned-theme-park that’s fun even just to walk around. These are a bit off the beaten path but absolutely worth the extra effort! Il-Gżira itself has a relaxed vibe with plenty of restaurants and easy connections to the rest of the island. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it as a smart base for discovering Malta!

    Highly recommend to stay at ll-Gżira, so central and you can go anywhere with ease. And its not too crowded, with lots of nice restaurants and shops. Sightseeing tours are easy access. Buses are frequent

    I would recommend Il-Gzira and the Bayview Hotel as an excellent base for your holiday in Malta. Wonderful promenade extending for miles towards Sliema and St. Julian's. Great transport connections on the doorstep for travel all around the island. Several beaches in the vicinity. Hugh range of restaurants and bars in Il-Gzira/Sliema and lovely old streets and squares to explore. 10 minute walk to the Ferry Terminals and 3mins by ferry over to the capital Valetta. I thought the prices for buses and ferries were very reasonable and prices in bars and restaurants in general were very good and offered excellent value for money.

    It is a mediocre neighboorhood, but in a good meaning. You will meet fair environment, authentic, with good (fair) public transportation joints. Prices are okay. Surrounding is spectacular, good to have active time and chill-down as well. If you want to step out for a "party-zone", St Giljan is very close, but while around Valletta, Gzira is a calm place.

    Hotel was great for visiting Malta. Amazing views from balcony. Very good location next to restaurants and easy for ferry and bus tours. Staff were all very friendly. Breakfast had a good selection. The hotel facilities were great and included access to the outdoor pool bar, a small indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, as well as a welcome drink. Will recommend for anyone staying in Malta. Would stay again.

    Great hotel - nice, clean and safe. Perfect location to bus stops of the public transport and ferry to Valletta. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was freshly cooked every morning and it was very delicious. I couldn’t ask for more as I came to walk around Malta and visit the sightseeings. If I ever get the chance to come back to Malta, I would definitely choose the same hotel.

    If you’re traveling in to Malta and want to visit a lot of cities by public transport, choose this hotel. It’s 1 min walk to the nearest buss stop and 12 min on foot to the Valleta ferry. The staff is helpful, the amenities are new, and breakfast is rich on options. The rooftop view is one of a kind and the room we had had small balcony.
