  “The hosts are incredibly nice. They welcomed us with open arms and did everything to make our stay comfortable. They also explained what to do in the area and even organised a trip for us. We got a lot of advice where to go shopping, where and what to eat. (Btw. there is a small restaurant close to the apartment, called „Le Tropical“ which was really good.) Whenever we had any problem, we could just go downstairs and ask them. The apartment itself is quite spacious and equipped with everything you need (comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, bathroom with shower, washing machine, TV, …). Moreover, it had a big balcony from which you can watch fruit bats flying around in the evening. The village of Bel Ombre is small but has basically everything you need, two small shops and a couple of restaurants. However, I recommend having a car because there are a lot of things to see in the surrounding area. All in all, let me just say: Thank you to our whole host family for everything! And a special thanks to Preti for the gâteaux piments and all the bananas you gave us! :)”
