Having traveled extensively across the Maldives, I can confidently say that Bageecha Stay is the best guesthouse I have ever experienced. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it felt like home, thanks to the incredible hospitality and warm atmosphere created by the host, Ismael, and his exceptional team. Ismael went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was perfect. His attention to detail, deep knowledge of the island, and genuine care for his guests made my stay unforgettable. Whether organizing activities or sharing insights about local life, his passion for hospitality truly shone through. Every meal was a masterpiece, combining fresh local ingredients with remarkable skill and creativity. From mouthwatering Maldivian delicacies to innovative international dishes, each bite was a treat. I can honestly say it was some of the best food I’ve had in the Maldives, and I looked forward to every meal during my stay. Everything is SUPER, was a short stay. Loved everything, this guest house is operated together with LVIS beach property. I paid less since stay was at LVIS Village as this is a lower priced property having it located in the Village instead of being on the beach, but is just 30 seconds walk to bikini beach and beach front LVIS property where beach front restaurant, garden and sun loungers for all guests are located. Garden and Beach is excellent, I spent all the time on the beach and garden and used room just to sleep 😁 Food is exceptional, excursions are great. Best or all is warm hospitality, how genuine staff is, feel like home. This is a place to return

Like the staff all very nice and helpful. Manager and the tour guide and all staff are very responsible and take care all of us very much. I ask Manager help to arrange and perpare the birthday cake for us. He is so great to order a newly tailor made and tasty cake and only usd 10. Really big thanks for the manager. The rooms are big and comfortable and the garden are relax. There are free coffee and tea is good.

    Expected Dharavandoo just to be a transit island with it's airport traveling to a resort nearby. We had chosen to spend a few days in the Biosphere guesthouse. The charming guesthouse itself, the wonderfull staff and the range of activities made us extend our stay with a few days. It's the perfect startingpoint for alot of affordeable (water) activities and also the island has alot to offer (inc nice beaches, snorkling spot's, sports- and playgrounds, restaurant (Krill is recomended!),... We spent new year's eve where the islands council arranges a memorable big party for tourists and residents.

    Amazing stay for one day after diving livaboard trip. Walking around was really relaxing as this island is QUIET! Personal highlights were playing volleyball with the locals (free court with lights, started at 9 and we went on until midnight!). Also Coral Boutique is a must visit - blue whale bones, and owner is super interesting to talk to! Don't leave the island without visiting the store! DFC for food is a must.

    The manta snokelling trip in Hanifaru bay was stunning - seeing ~20 giant manta rays, the sensation is just difficult to describe in words! And the sunset fishing trip was also beyond expectation - we caught amost 20 fishes and the guesthouse helped cook the catch without surcharge.

    The island is very small and you can walk it, in flip-flops, rather slowly from one end to another in about 15 minutes. It is very quiet, full of wonderful beaches, seemed safe and the grocery store was easily reachable as well.

    Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island.

    Dharavandhoo is a very laid back locals island. There is not much to do other than diving and beach time, both of which were truly wonderful. The island does not allow alcohol, and females should respect the Muslim culture and cover shoulders and thighs, and swim at the "bikini beach." A bicycle is all that is needed to get around the island, Keep in mind that there are few cafes and shops, so be prepared for diving, sun and relaxation.     Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport...

    Small and quiet island occupied in its half by an airport and on the other half by the locals and a few guesthouses. Perfect place to relax and forget all the rest. Not much to see on the island. Few souvenir shops and one restaurant near the airport. Some excursions are organized by the guesthouses. Very quiet place. Friendly people, lovely beach and dolphins strolling by. I recommend Honney Bunny restaurant next to the airport. Dharavandhoo is not a place to stay for too long if you prefer busy environments.
