The location is very good, next to the highway leading to the capital. The house looks a bit old, but the interior of the room is well maintained, the air conditioning is also very good, the breakfast variety is not much, but the food is relatively fresh and tastes good. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean with a pleasant view from the balcony. We admired that the old charm of the restaurant was preserved while eating delicious food. The staff was very polite, welcoming and generous. The distance from the centre is perfect and feels like as if you’re in a suburban area, it’s green and peaceful, but practically it’s 15 mins by bus.

I would like to thank the Hotel Lonca for a great weekend! We made a mistake during the booking, but the staff met us halfway and the problem was solved.     Medvode is a small village at the confluence of the Sava and Sora rivers. Not much to visit in the village itself, but the village is located between Ljubljana and Bled, so it's a good base for traveling around (20 mins from Ljubljana, 30 from Bled, 1h to Bohinj lake.

    Great location and amazing view to a beautiful lake. Staff was friendly and the room was comfy. A good solution if you look .for an hotel near the airport (we did since our flight landed in the evening) We had a nice breakfast and a great morning walk near the lake to start our vacation in Slovenia
