Outstanding, cheerful service from the minute I arrived. Breakfast was varied, delicious and generous. I love the land they have, and it’s only a 15 minute walk from the centre. The pool is ideal for cooling off from the sun, and there is a lovely traditional tent you can sit in too. Internet is adequate for emails.

Hamu was very helpful and kind. His cafe has a really beautiful mood and delicious drinks as well. I highly recommend mango juice. Though it was a bit cold at night, you can ask for an additional blanket as well.

He made our stay pleasant. Always on his toes to assist us. We were offered a nice room with a balcony and pool view. The chef prepared customised delicacies for us. Overall it was a wonderful stay.     Only the manager speaks English, it was then hard to communicate my needs with the other crew members of the hotel but I do speak a little and understand so I kind of made it ! And well, they were adorable. I think it is the most important. And they upgraded me for free in a beautiful bedroom with a magnificent front beach view.

    Room was not clean they delayed the check in drain was blocked my wife was poisoned in BHAAR restaurant first day breakfast they mistaken the egg for my son as he is allergic not enough towels in the swimming pool we had to wait for half hour concierge service is terrible

    Was the best surprise in our trip to Egypt. Marsa Matruh has two of the best beaches we ever saw in our lives: Cleopatra and Agiba. For sure we will be back. We loved also the Museum of Marsa Matruh. There is a McDonald's just in front of the beach, so you can eat your "big mac" or an ice cream with an amazing view!!! The people of the city are not very used to meet strangers in my opinion, it seems that differently of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, Marsa Matruh is more focused for Egyptian tourism instead of foreigners, so not everybody speaks English there. Prices are cheaper than in other cities of Egypt. We had a taxi driver that became our friend even we only could talk using Google Translate. Very warm personality and we booked him to guide us in all the beaches in a day trip. We can't wait to return to those amazingly beautiful and crystal clear beaches!!!

    The chalet were clean and the terrace lake view was amazing. There are 3 beaches, the front of the resort is good but we enjoyed Sidi AbdElrhman beach. The cafeteria food was delicious and cheap. Owner was friendly and very welcoming. You must have a car to go to the 3 beaches.

    don't go to Matruh in peak season( July & August) too many people are in the streets & on the beaches, choose remote suburban location outside main city if you are a foreigner or Non Muslim women as culture & religion are playing against you if you want to take a dip in the sea wearing a one- piece swimsuit, the city is blessed with splendid nature and is cheap,

    Siwa stands out for its kind and respectful locals, a refreshing change from other parts of Egypt. The overnight journey from Cairo is long, but the stunning salt lakes made it absolutely worth it. Plus, Shali Fortress was a beauty!

    The area have a promising future, but right now beside what is available at the north square and the mall its pretty empty and very over priced, and several locations and restaurants are not accessible unless you are staying at Rixsos. Generally speaking would only recommend if you are staying at Rixsos otherwise staying in other places in North cost is better value for money.

    Our stay was exceptional, the staff was very friendly specially Mr. Ahmed Galal was above and beyond our expectations. All staff were making sure that our stay was perfect. The beach life guards Mohamed Tag and Mahamed Mahmoud were very nice and helpful.
