Victoria is a very beautiful city, definitely worth visiting. The ocean, the parks, the unique stores, and especially the food options for us vegans are fantastic! However, I was deeply disturbed by their homeless/drug addicts problem, not so much for safety reasons but more for compassionate ones. Unlike a lot of hotels there are plenty of places to put your stuff unlike other places. There is a microwave, fridge and lavazza coffee maker. Perfect. The bed is very comfortable. The location is downtown and within walking distance of many places. The staff at the hotel are excellent t. They do go above and beyond and certainly have that personal touch.
