Really such a wonderful property! The host was so friendly and absolutely delighted to see her guests, this really made my stay very special! The room itself was very clean and well maintained. There is no A/C, but a fan which keeps the room much cooler than I was expecting! The host will arrange join in tours to the Ijen Crater - when you book, just drop her a message and you will get the current prices which are very fair. I didn’t have the chance to have breakfast, but the other guests staying really enjoyed theirs! 100% I would recommend Banana Homestay to those visiting the area ☺️

My absolute favorite Hostel ever! Just loved the vibe in this place. So clean and comfy beds. The common areas are totally relaxing, felt so at home here. The staff is the best, they helped out with booking tours and train tickets and did everything to make me have the best stay. Such friendly and warm hearted people.

I loved this little hostel in Banyuwangi, it was spotlessly clean, very quiet, the beds were so comfortable, the showers were amazing, the family who own the hostel live next door and are such kind helpful people. The free breakfast included is so delicious, way better than a lot of the free breakfasts other hostels include. This is the perfect spot to stay in Banyuwangi if you want to explore the surrounding area. I did the Ijen tour through the hostel and ended up doing it with a small group and a really great guide so would 100% recommend.
