Hospitality and comprehensive support are what you get when staying at this hotel. I would especially recommend it to those traveling to Japan for the first time. I was personally shown around and informed about everything nearby, and was assisted in purchasing everything I needed for my stay in Japan (including medication, help with SIM cards, etc.). Naturally, the cleanliness of the room and the full range of services are top-notch. It is also worth mentioning the traditional Japanese atmosphere in the design, which helps you relax after a long flight. I definitely plan to take advantage of their tours of local attractions in the future. I would also like to emphasize that the hotel owners are very responsive and willing to help you navigate the city.

Lovely small well equipped apartment in a quite residential area of Kyoto but with good transport links (bus stop and Higashiyama station around the corner, walking distance to Sanjo station, the canal and Gion). Super comfortable and clean with all the amenities for a short or even slightly longer stay (including washing machine). I loved the minimalist Japanese style of the apartment and it really felt like a home away from home. Very friendly owner/manager with guest house in short walking distance (she did not speak English but for me this is was not a problem and there is always google translator). Highly recommended for independent travellers who want a more local experience. Great for solo travellers or a couple. I absolutely loved it here and really hope I can stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming traditional-style apartment in Kyoto. The space beautifully combines tradition and comfort, offering the option of sleeping on Western-style beds or tatami mats. The interior is thoughtfully decorated with lovely accents, including an adorable and unique sofa downstairs that added so much character. It’s clear that a lot of care and personal touches went into creating a welcoming atmosphere. The apartment was well-equipped for the colder weather, with heating on both floors and even a heated carpet downstairs, making it cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. However, it’s worth noting that the stairs to the upper floor are steep and narrow, which could pose a challenge for guests with mobility concerns or those who may require more spacious access. Overall, staying here was a brilliant experience that truly allowed us to immerse ourselves in the Kyoto lifestyle. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable place to stay in this beautiful city!
