Had an excellent stay! Girls at the reception know English well, give plenty of information on the surrounding area, are very polite and accommodating. Room was spotless, and so are the other hotel facilities. Internal design is an interesting mix of a traditional style and modern conveniences

Okay okay, this was such an authentic experience! From the friendly staff, to the rooms, the food, the Onsen. Would I go again? Heck yea! Also close walking distance from fantastic little food places, and the train station.

The hotel was perfect from the moment you entered the elevators (wait until you smell the air). The staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was very spacious and the bed extra comfy. Cozy and spacious room, even for international patterns. Bathroom equiped with all amenities, bathtub and ceiling shower spacious and remarkable clean. Excellent location, in a residential neighbourhood besides a bus stop that leads you to main touristic spots. Besides that, the htl has excellent restaurants (open to the public), a public Onsen. And the service was flawless. Next time in Kyoto, I would get back to this hotel, for sure.

Highly recommended! Perfect and great in every sense, especially the staff!. We can't thank enough the staff during our stay. My wife got sick and needed to go to hospital. The staff were with us through it all. We could communicate in English fluently with all the staff present and one of the staff even came all the way with us to the hospital to serve as a translator since it was a Sunday and we couldn't find a hospital with a translator. To all the staff at Kabin Kyoto we thank you from the bottom of our hearts! God bless you!
