Dar Shâan is perfectly situated to explore the interesting city of Rabat. You are right inside the Medina with lots of nice eateries, cafes and small shops but as well close to all the sights, city centre, tram stops. The welcome to the Dar was extremely friendly. The Dar itself is gorgeous, very well maintained and immaculately clean. My room was very comfy and in my bed I slept like in heaven. I did not use the pool on the roof but this is a nice bonus, very much so for kids. I loved it that there were wonderful books available and sitting outside my room and looking at those books was great. Breakfast was fantastic. It was allegedly served from 8:00 am. On the day of my departure I sneaked to the breakfast room at 7:30 in the hope to grab a quick coffee as I had to leave early for my train - and the whole breakfast was already served! That was so lovely. The nice woman even hurried to pour me fresh orange juice. The entire staff was just wonderful and so, so nice. Every night they brought me a glass of tasty Moroccan white wine up to my room on the top floor. I would defo recommend staying at Dar Shâan while visiting Rabat.

My two friends and I loved everything about Riad Amaris. We arrived before the check-in and they welcomed us with a lovely mint tea and some biscuits. Our family suite was spotless and the came every day to tidy up and change the towels. The breakfast in the terrace was unreal, everything they served was so fresh and tasty. The staff was lovely, everyone was very kind and professional. We highly recommend to choose Riad Amaris for your stay in Rabat :)

This Riad is beautifully refurbished with splendid tiling and furniture that make it feel opulent while still being authentic, it’s very evident that the owners care about the place and the comfort of their guests and a very good breakfast is served in the beautiful courtyard every morning by your charming hosts. Despite the rooms being situated around a courtyard we found it very peaceful and weren’t disturbed at all. Located inside the old town it takes around 7 minutes to walk to the Kasbah of the Oudayas and the pleasant waterfront which is a nice area to stroll on the way back from the Hassan Tower. Do note that the taxi will be dropping you off at the edge of the Kasbah though so you’ll have a 5 minute walk to the front door, it’s a fairly straightforward route but make sure you’ve downloaded the map before setting off.

Everything about my stay was perfect! The owner is kind, communicative and attentive, and the other staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms are spotlessly clean and everything is brand new. The building is modern but has lots of traditional aspects so you feel like you’re staying with your Moroccan family. I stayed in a few different rooms and each one was of the highest standard. The included breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooftop has great views of Rabat. I will definitely be staying here again when I next visit Morocco - I live here now 😂

Our stay was simply perfect. The riad is beautiful, cozy, and magically decorated with a lot of taste, and so was our spacious and comfortable room. Every detail was thoughtfully curated and truly exceeded our expectations. Not to mention the delicious breakfast and the sweet and caring staff members which were the highlight of it all. Finally, the most precious detail was to meet the couple of little birds that live around the riad (not in captivity but free) whose singing and funny mingling accompanied our time there. If we are ever coming back to Rabat, we will definitely stay here again!
