The room we stayed at Sao Mai Hotel was very reasonably priced, clean and very comfortable and we could not fault it at all. Breakfast buffet was delightful with many options to choose from. If there is one thing I would compliment, it is for their staff's hospitality. Sao Mai Hotel offers simply one of the best hospitality that I have ever come across in hotels throughout our travels across Asia.

Enormous penthouse apartment had plenty of room (5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, plus huge living room with loads of seating) for my family of 8. The facilities were even nicer than we had anticipated - very roomy and luxurious-feeling. Fantastic wifi, rooftop deck, clean elevator...it was all good! The cleaners came every day, and supplied us with fresh towels and water bottles as well as cleaning up all our mess. And the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and excited to help, especially the young man who works the afternoon/evening shift. He went the extra mile more than once for us! Everything we asked for, they supplied. I would recommend this place to any large group coming to Hanoi!

Every thing was better than I thought it would be. Out of the main tourist area, walking around small alleys experiencing the local life. 10 minutes from the train station area which has street markets for food. Great room, comfortable bed. Good internet. Plenty of very nice photo art by the owner.
