The location of the house was very good. It was very safe! The backyard was very beautiful, with a nice outdoor area and a large pool. The house was very large and spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped. The pool table was a good way to spend time. The rooms were large and comfortable. We had a great time there! Definitely recommend!

Classy place, beautifully decorated, wonderful views, amazing food and attention to detail is incredible. However the winner here are the staff and hosts at Villa Afrikana. They are exceptional. They are the warmest, most helpful and attentive we have ever experienced. They preempted possible consequences of our late arrival and prompted a booking in a great restaurant for us. They arranged anything we needed and couldn’t have been kinder.

Everything was faultless!!! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay as a family of 5 at thebloem guest suites. We stayed one night as a stop along the garden route and had 2 rooms. Having stayed at over 6 places over the last few weeks, we can honestly say thebloem surpassed all the other accommodations! True 5* luxury experience from beautifully spacious and contemporary rooms and amenities, including fabulous bathrooms to the delicious and perfectly cooked breakfast with amazing variety. Service from Constance, Tracy and the lovely man who helped with luggage was fantastic. The owner/manager Bianca was really sweet. Everyone made sure our stay was great, very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing luxury break amid the travelling.

This guesthouse is such a gem. The rooms are very modern looking and spotless clean. Very spacious room and with great views. Load shedding was not an issue as they have backup generators. Ample parking space. Special thanks to Wendy, the host. She handled all our tour bookings and always did so with a smile on her face. She also gave us all the information we needed and made us feel at home. Definitely recommend this guesthouse!

The property is in a great location with spectacular views. Three of the bedrooms have views over the bay and the master bedrooms bathroom is fabulous . The home is well equipped with everything you would need, including an ample supply of wood for bbq or fire place as required.

The host was super helpful and the view was amazing! The apartment is equiped with anything you could need and the host provided some delicious rusks and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Will def visit again!
