The Golden Crown Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Ampitya, Kandy, Srilanka. Cleaning staff was great. I don’t remember the names. Restaurant menu was amazing I tried break fast which were part of our package. However, dinner with buffet was amazing.

Beautiful hotel situated overlooking all of Kandy. You get to watch the sun rise from bed and can enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace. The staff were so accommodating and helpful especially when we were having issues communicating with our Tuk tuk driver. There’s a restaurant on site which is perfect after a long day of touring. The hotel is far enough from the city where it’s calm and quiet but still accessible by tuk tuk just factor in some time if you are trying to get to the train station. The room was so well kept and clean. Breakfast was also amazing, super tasty and you have a choice of options you’d like. Cannot say enough great things about this hotel. I absolutely recommend staying in when you are in Kandy.

From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay, and I sincerely hope I can return as soon as possible! We felt as at home!! Food was delicious and huge portions! Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. We planned to stay only one night and finally we stay an extra night.
