My children and I spent 5 wonderful days in la Quebrada Ecolodge- the "beach huts" were perfectly equipped and decorated with such attention to detail and love, the beds were comfortable, the clear and warm water in the swimming pool so appeasing- it really felt like paradise, luxurious and homely at the same time. It is ideally located, 5-10 mins walk from the beach and from the centre with sodas and eateries serving delicious food. It is also 10-15 mins drive to Las Catalinas and other fabulous beaches on the coast. A big thank you to Carmen and Christian who surpassed all our expectations. They treated us with such care and generosity, arranged an amazing horseriding tour on the beach with Eddy and made themselves available to help us discover the beauty of this part of the country. We loved how unique Curiol is! We stayed in one of the glamping tents, which was very comfortable. Although it's warmer, there was a nice breeze during the evening and we loved listening to the sounds of the community. The bathroom is nicely set up as well at the back of tent, very private. We loved all the lounge areas and pool. The restaurant was open late so when we got back from our evening, we posted up in a cabana and had some late night snacks.

Amazing place, quiet, private outdoor shower, little patio in front of every bungalow overlooking the pool, outdoor kitchen has everything you need to make coffee and breakfast, the hosts recommended and helped us book a catamaran tour for us for the next day that turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Tamarindo! Highly recommend!!

Honestly my boyfriend and I had a blast at this hostel. The Personal are really helpfull and kind. Speacially the ones that we have the chance to meet. Like Mayda and the other tall guy that i cant remember his name. The place is really easy going. Kitchen always clean. Just a step aways from everything you need in tamarindo. Its really a chill vibe and I recommend 100%. The cleaning people are working hard to keep the place perfect and its work. Again we totally recommend.
