Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. It was a special experience to sleep in a treehouse in the woods. Our treehouse was very clean and good equiped to keep insects and other unwanted animals outside. The domain is located in the woods and the pure Costa Rican nature. It was cute decorated with lights and the common space had a beautiful view. There is an own restaurant and one word: amazing. The food was amazing. We ate every night something different and we got never disappointed. There were a lot of options and the prices were normal. The staff was kind and they gave us information about the activities in the surrounding area. The lodge is very secluded (which we loved because of the peace and the animal-sounds). It’s a 50 min drive to La Fortuna so you need to have your own car to get to the lodge. The way up is bumpy so we would recommend to drive with a 4x4 but believe us: it is worth it! We loved our stay here and we are so content that we’ve made the trip up the mountain.

Featuring mountain views, Wellness Park CR features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from La Fortuna Waterfall. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. The amount of nature and animals surrounding us was absolutely fenomenal. We did pretty much all the trails available on the property, saw monkeys, frogs, the Arenal volcano (best view we had while in the area). It was fabuluos!

The accommodation was quaint and extremely comfortable. The shower had a little heater attached so even though we were a little more remote we were able to enjoy a comfortable shower. We could hear the sounds of the rainforest at night, which I particularly enjoyed. The family who run this place were some of the kindest people and even though we don't speak Spanish, and they didn't speak English, we were able to communicate and actually enjoyed a long conversation. There were a few dogs on the premisis that were super friendly and definitely enjoyed the ample attention we paid them. The value for this place was incredible and it was my favorite accommodation my partner and I stayed in. We wish we would have stayed for more than one night.
