In December-April evenings, weather permitting, the cabins can be moved to be on the ice of Lake Inari. This property is 1.5 km from Inari Village in Finnish Lapland. We stayed for two nights, and it was a wonderful experience! The team was very friendly and accommodating. The basecamp was well-maintained, very clean, and breakfast was delicious. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you need (heaters/toilets/comfy bed) to catch the aurora at night. Not to mention, trying their sauna and playing around with the kicksled was very nice! We also tried activities such as ice fishing & cross country ski, which were very rewarding & fun. Atte explained all the tips how to catch fish and what Finns do in the winter; if you caught some fish, they would be your lunch :-) Highly recommend staying with them!

The facilities, including a stove, cutlery, and cooking equipment, are within a stone's throw. Despite the chilly weather, the house was very warm and cosy. We definitely recommend this location to families and couples looking to escape the city and recharge.

Loved the atmosphere surrounded by nature, a beautiful view of a lake, horses, goats—a really wonderful place! Incredible horse ride around the hills with the most charming host. An honest taste of Lapland without the commercialization. Sleeping in a tent in minus temperatures was a challenge but with the gas heat and extra blankets, I loved it! So did the dogs!
