Thornthwaite Farm is set amidst the scenery of the Woodland Valley, in Broughton-in-Furness. Lake Windermere is just 13 miles from the property. Beautiful location! Modern from the inside, everything quite new, warm rooms and warm floor, perfect with kids. Well equipped! Beautiful cottage!

Beauview was beautiful. Clean stylish, tidy and spacious. Really nice to have tea and coffee, shampoo and super fluffy towels. The site is wonderful a real hidden gem with the Lakeside Costal walks, Aqua Park and the Ski Bar we had all we needed on our doorstep. Our 2 boys 9 & 12 were very happy as were we. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us. We would definitely be back. Infact we can’t wait to head back it was such a lovely place. We were lucky enough to enjoy sunny afternoons as the locals tell us it has its own micro climate.
