My room was beautiful, with a great view. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the staff truly made the difference. I found a new family here. Thank you all. Josef is an amazing host, sharing his knowledge about jungle conservation, palm tree impact, local and touristes co-living. The Landak River is at the back of the garden so you can chill and swim there. The house is a bit far from Bukit Lawang but Josef came to pick me up / drop me off at the bus station by scooter. You can also eat all your meals there (special mention for the most beautiful fruit plate at 25k only). I did one day trek with Josef and learn so many things, it was a real adventure as we wandered out of tracks, even more than another 4 day trek I did in Bukit Lawang.

The manager is very kind and friendly, and also smiles a lot.. not stingy with information about places to visit there too.. The food in the restaurant is also very delicious, rate 8/10 for all the menus we ordered while in Tangkahan. I highly recommend this accommodation as a temporary place to stay if you visit Tangkahan 🫰
