We were warmly welcomed and it was really nice. Our breakfast was prepared at the safari park and the safari was wonderful. Thought of staying another day. A complete service.

Makulu Safari Camping is a great choice to stay. Near the Udawalawe Park and in a gorgeous location next to a little river. The staff here are outstanding. Samitha looked after me with such care and grace, always making sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. He took me on a lovely boat ride on the little river and pointed out birds and trees. Also a fabulous night walk. He has an incredible knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine and it is fascinating. He knows what plants and trees cure various ailments. One of the most lovely things at this place is the abundance of fireflies. You can see them in the dark so it's worth turning off your lights, sitting back and taking in the breathtaking beauty of these creatures as they dance around. I opted to do the 12 hour Safari which I think was the best choice. The first couple of hours is very busy with a lot of jeeps so having that extra time to see the elephants without other Jeeps around was really special. The driver Patou was fabulous and spotted so many birds and animals before I had even real realized they were there. This was all arranged in advance by Makulu.

The unit offers 2 beds. Located 15 km from Udawalawe National Park, Mango Safari Camping Udawalawe is in Udawalawe and features a garden and a terrace. Your totally absorbed by the nature! You can totally relax with the sounds of nature all around you. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help answer any questions including “what bird is that” x 20. The staff were patient and knowledgeable and they made my experience amazing!!

Ahaspokuna asub Belihul Oyas, 22 meetri kaugusel Nuwara Eliyast. Bandarawela on majutusasutusest 17 m kaugusel. The surroundings of the camp are just stunning. The gardeners Indika, Upalai and Kumara do a very good job. The area is very quiet and full of birdlife an other animals. Our bushwalks with Nuwan and Dimuth were great, although we could‘nt find any elephants. Kumara led us to a beautiful waterfall where we had e refreshing bath. The service and food cooked by Upalai and Rajitha was excellent. Thanks a lot to all staff - we will come back one day 👋🏼🙏🏻

Välibasseini, tasuta privaatse parkimise, aia ja ühise puhkeruumiga Kottawatta River Bank Resort asub Udawalawes, 17 km kaugusel Udawalawe rahvuspargist. Peretubades on laste mänguväljak. One of the best and most beautifully places we got to stay in during our travels. The rooms are huge, the outdoor bathroom is beautiful. Food was good, service was great. Did the safari with them and would totally recommend, super nice, we got to see many animals and the driver was really nice.

Offering river views, this fan-cooled tent has a private entrance, seating area and extra large bed with spring mattress. It includes a hot water shower, towel and shoe racks. Very echo friendly location..Grate place to stay..absolutely love the place

Rakwana jõe vaatega majutusasutus Athgira River Camp asub Udawalawe rahvuspargi ukselävel. Väga lähedal paiknevad ka Udawalawe veehoidla ja elevantide kaitseala. The property is gorgeous and very natural. There are no eye-sores, everything is very blended with nature. The two swimming pools were really lovely and the restaurant buffet dinners were delicious. The best part was the general manager who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. He engaged with our kids and made sure they stayed busy with basketball, volleyball, arranged a village walk across the river, and made special arrangements on our safari to celebrate my son's birthday. He was like a traditional hotel general manager who treats everybody like his personal guest. It's a really special place and definitely a great base for visiting both Udawalawe and Yala parks.

This unique tent is set on the border of the National Park and comes with a private bathroom. Friendly and interesting people , we loved the outdoor bird watching walk during sunset.
