Hiljuti renoveeritud puhkealaga Al Salam Desert Camp Bidiya asub Bidiyahis. Kohapeal on terve päeva valve, restoran ja päikeseterrass. We booked a deluxe tent on the website for late Dec. Additional activities do not have to be pre-booked but many of the popular activities fill up quickly so it is advisable to pre-book if you want a specific time. Communication with the team was excellent with an accurate pin sent for the location. The camp is easy to find just off the main track. Arrival and check at reception were easy. They have an electric cart to move people and luggage around the site which means it is very safe for children to walk around and play. The tents are exceptional. Big, clean and well equipped. We had a shower and flushing toilet attached! At the back of the camp there are sand dunes maybe 200ft high, they can be climbed (or driven up) for a beautiful view of the surrounding area at sunset. The food was excellent with options to eat inside or outside. Inside tables fill up quickly so you may want to great early or wait until one comes free. There are plenty of tables outside. Again the level of service from the camp staff was excellent during meal times. The tent came with a small fridge, a kettle and air conditioning. There were a few mosquitos around but piff paff was provided and a few short sprays before bed solved it. While it was very warm during the day the temperature dropped at night and it is worth packing a long sleeved top/jumper for sitting outside when the wind picks up. The activities were well organised and ran throughout the afternoon and the following morning. Some activities prefer payment in cash and there are no ATMs nearby. Overall an amazing camp, well organised and staffed by a professional and impressive team. We will definitely return. Sent from my iPad

The tent features a private entrance, a seating area, as well as a private bathroom boasting a shower and a bidet. The tent offers a barbecue, a sofa, as well as a terrace and a patio. We stayed only one night, but it was one of our favourite nights in Oman! The campsite is secluded enough - further from the city lights and other camps. You have enough privacy, silence and the sky full of stars. Rashid is a very nice owner, who is very welcoming, attentive, has great sence of humour and is an interesting person to talk to. So prepare all the questions you would like to have answered about Oman and Omanis! The food was great and the dune bashing was sooo much fun! :) Cannot wait to come back for more nights!

Nomadic Desert Camp asub Al Wāşilis. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla ja majutusasutus pakub tasulist lennujaamatransporti. Luksuslikus telgis on rätikud ja voodipesu. Not cheap, but definitely very pleasant stay - nice, magic, rustical place, all facilities and food sufficient indeed, guys running the camp professional, really different experience. 10-15 min walk above camp goats and (some)cute camels.

Everything! First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

The tent offers a barbecue, as well as a private bathroom featuring a shower. The tent features outdoor furniture. The unit offers 2 beds. Crescent Desert Private Camp asub Shāhiqiqiqi piirkonnas. Everything was perfect. Reception, dinner and breakfast. Activities. Horse and camel riding and sand riding by car. 4/4 The driver was skilled and highly experienced. We recommend this camp.

SAFARI-Glamping asub Bidiyah-20 km kaugusel kõrbes Al Hawaiyahi külast. Wadi Bin Khalid on 50 km kaugusel. Clear directions Desert driving (we made it without issues with Toyota RAV 4, 4wd) The place it self - we were lucky to be alone; the host was very kind; we were given a plenty of delicious meals, unlimited water and other drinks; everything was clean and comfortable. Great adventure! Sunset, neverending dunes, dune bashing in the morning.... THANK YOU

The Alsarmadi Desert Camp is an amazing experience. Our hosts picked us up in the nearby township of Bidiya, and it was only a short 30min drive out to the camp. You are surrounded by sand dunes, but high up enough to enjoy a beautiful sunset/sunrise. The hosts are very welcoming and can organise several activities during your stay in the desert. Some incur extra costs, like camel rides & lunch at a Bedouin camp. Or you can simply enjoy exploring the dunes, like we did. The tents are clean & comfortable, it was the best sleep of our whole trip! And as female travellers we felt safe the whole time. Breakfast & dinner were also delicious. Thank you to Said & his son Alfarooq for a wonderful experience in the desert!
