The room had a cute terrace, perfect for sitting and enjoying a good book or tea. It was simple, clean and very inviting. Bed was extremely comfortable. Wasn't sure at first where to check in, there isn't an understandable sign but people were very friendly and sent me to the restaurant/bar which also serves as a check in.

The hotel is excellent, beautifully furnished, exceptionally large rooms with a spacious bathroom and lovely balcony right in the heart of Velden. The spa is very nice and the breakfast was tasty with a wide range of options available. The restaurant is very good and we ate lunch and dinner there also and it was very good. We also took advantage of the free bicycle option and cycled all the way around Lake Worthersee, a very nice trip. Expensive but standard for the location. We didn't use the lake access but were given passes if we had wanted to do so.

Located in the middle in the sunniest bay of Pörtschach, at the flower promenade right by the lake, the Seehotel Dr. Jilly is surrounded by idyllic grounds and has its own wide beach.

Beautiful setting on the lake in a charming small town that is easily accessed by train. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was the best ever and the evening restaurant food was excellent. The indoor pool, saunas and spa services were just what weary travelers needed!
