Great location in non busy part of Cork, just 1e minutes driving from the Cork Airport. 24-hour reception and very helpful and friendly hotel staff, also a clear written guide was provided upon arrival. The breakfast was tasty and serviced by waitresses (not a buffet as in Europe). There was also a swimming pool but we did not have time to try. Free and spaceful car park was a great benefit on our late night arrival.

The 5-star Fota Island Hotel boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, a swimming pool and beautifully designed rooms with countryside views and luxury bathrooms. Cork is just 8 miles away.

Very comfortable rooms. The breakfast and food was very good. The property is very nice, large and a lot of space to walk and admire the nature.
