Lovelyl hotel set in beautiful grounds. Great facilities on site with a leisure centre and golf course. Lovely walks around the hotel and it even has a path through thr golf course to the proleek dolemn. Great location to visit Carlingford and the north..

Played golf during our stay and congratulations to the staff of Ballymascanlon, your course is amazing and very deserving of the award recently received.

Lovely hotel, breakfast was really good. Played the golf course which was excellent concidering there isn't a golf club Ate in the bar the night we stayed, food was excellent, large portions. .

The hotel is wonderful. Set against the backdrop of a golf course and woodland. The Proleek Dolmen is within walking distance from the main building. There's a swimming pool, gym, sauna, outdoor hot tub, and tennis court to enjoy while staying there. The original hotel building is stunning and of historical interest. The restaurant was also fantastic, and the staff were exceptional.

Had stayed previously and knew it was an excellent hotel. Family occasion enjoyed by all. Golf course is also a bonus.

Beautiful property and setting surrounded by golf course

Lovely combination of olde worldiness and modern comfort. The hotel is an old, ivy-covered brick house with modern additions. The grounds are gorgeous. There's a rose garden and some picturesque outbuildings, and you can walk along the golf course to see the historic Proleek Dolmen. Room and bed were both very comfortable. Pool is lovely. Bar and restaurant areas are spacious and relaxing, lots of very pleasant places to sit and chat or read. I travelled solo and felt comfortable and unconspicuous.
