Was a rainy day when we arrived at the house but we had a very warm welcome from the hosts. Achill Island was a beautiful and interesting spot to visit and the B&B was just in a perfect spot to drive to where we wanted to visit. Also we got a lovely breakfast despite having some dietary restrictions. I didn't inform about them beforehand but the host was very nice and prepared us a great breakfast anyway. Parking in front of the house was free and easy so bonus points for that. There were a kettle for water so we could have a nice evening tea and some complementary biscuits to go with it and who doesn't love some biscuits!? =)

Ferndale Luxury Boutique Bed & Breakfast offers adult-only accommodation. It's really luxurious. Each room is a piece of art, a masterpiece, and the host John is an artist. All is done with love and care. You can feel his soul in everything. Breakfasts are amazing. It feels like you are royalty.

The location was amazing with the beach across the road. The house was beautiful and very special indeed. Easy walk to local pub and eatery. People were very friendly too.

Overall, Teach Cruachen felt warm and homey, and we would highly recommend.
