Facilities were good and they even had filter coffee and tea available.

Ormurinn Cottages is located in Egilsstadir. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Very cosy cottage with peaceful location and amazing view. We had a chance to see Northern Lights during our stay.

Tehúsið Hostel & Guesthouse offre un giardino, una sala comune, una terrazza e un ristorante a Egilsstadir. This place was amazing, the family running the guest house were lovely and informative. We stayed in a lovely spacious room with a double bed and a window I was able to see the Aurora out of in late April. The kitchen and dining facilities were comfortable with large windows utilising the amazing location of the guesthouse. There was a fantastic 45min walk around volcanoes/frozen lakes with an amazing sunset. I was also able to see the aurora in late April which was impressive. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of local foods on display.
