Our stay in Barri was made so special by our incredible hosts who went above and beyond for us. They were so hospitable with recommendations, airport transport, tours and created such a welcoming atmosphere for our stay. The room and bathroom were big, clean and comfortable. It is a 10 minute walk to the river restaurants which was safe. Highly recommend!!

The staff at Pousada BG lencois were all so kind and helpful, especially Joao! we had a great stay for 4 nights. the bed was one of the comfiest beds were slept on during our two week trip across Northern Brazil. The rooms were minimal, but had everything we needed including air con, and a clean bathroom. (the shower was hot during the day time, but in the evening it seemed to not work as well) they also offer laundry service with a turn around time of a few hours. location wise, it was a 7 minute walk from the main part of town. very quiet and safe area, we never had problems walking back in the evening or any issue with noise. special thank you to Joao who helped us organize a transfer to sao luis when we struggled to find one last minute. 10/ 10 experience!

Magical place with a beautiful garden, the room has everything needed for a comfortable stay exploring the national park. Top location right next to the main supermarket where we were able to have some breakfast too. We cannot express how big our gratitude is to Cesara, our host with the biggest heart - we suffered an accident and he and his wife helped us with everything dealing with the situation. If I could give a 100/10 I would.
