Beautiful building, gorgeously renovated, in a quiet and peaceful location yet only 10mins walk to two lovely bars/restaurants. We had the attic room which was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable - fabulous bathroom and comfortable bed made it a brilliant stay. Having the communal kitchen downstairs is fabulous! Really well equipped kitchen and classy dining room was the icing on the cake. Great communication from Lindsey too 😃. We were cycling the NCN78 route and Lyndsey could not have been more helpful providing a secure location to store our bikes overnight!! I’m positive you couldn’t find a better classed accommodation in the area!!

In summary - one of the best experiences we ever had in a stay. Much more than just a place to sleep - an attraction! And now for the details: First, one should mention that Paul, the host (whose family actually owns the place and also lives there) messaged us before arrival, provided details and directions, and even booked dinner for us in a local restaurant (when we had a flat tyre issue that kept us occupied and troubled). He kept checking if we are managing and was caring and thoughtful. When we arrived, we've been greeted, taken to our suite and discovered the huge rooms, the views from the windows, the furniture, the care for details. Paul actually spent 10 minutes showing us around the rooms and explaining everything. Just to be clear - the rooms are gigantic, make you feel like royalty, and really fit in the experience. The beds were huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was great with homemade Khachapuri and fruit basket, and following that we took a stroll in the house gardens, admired the small lake and river, and had 30 minutes of fun. Later Paul took us for a tour in the house, and showed us some unique features (no spoilers). Last but not least - good recommendations for Oban area. Will surely return next time we're in Scotland.
