The homestay was really nice. The owner speaks perfectly English, and she has always been really helpfull. We asked of we could join her family for diner, and she and het children directly said yes. It was really nice to stay here, definitely will go back! They also have a motorbike you can rent.

Staying here felt like being at someone's home. Very nicely decorated, with friendly owner. In a back alley away from the main street so quiet at night, with good view from outside our door. Being this far north of Kuta, you are definitely away from the big tourist spots, so has a much more local feel. No big restaurants nearby but plenty of street food. A few different ATMs are not far away by walking. To get to anything else, as with many places in Denpasar, you need a scooter or just use Grab.

Hotel is in Bali style, very nice. Staff are extremely helpful and the room and breakfast were great! Westerners need to be aware, in Indonesia they don't differentiate dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner 😋
