Such an excellent place to stay - everyone was ultra hospitable and accommodating, the food was delicious, and it was just a magical setting. Of the 30 or so places we've stayed in Japan, this one was the highlight!

Additionally, if the weather permits, guests can rent bikes from him to tour the area, adding an extra layer of convenience and adventure. One highlight of the stay is the nearby onsen, just a 15-minute walk away. It's a truly beautiful onsen, perfect for unwinding and enjoying a relaxing soak for half a day. The owner was so sweet and she is such a warm person ! She also gave us a lot of advices as to how to acces to Mt Takao (it was very close by train). She also proposes to her clients to take them from the station to avoid them walking which I think is super nice !

Not far from shopping, restaurants and the train station. The owner of the house takes very good care of it. I like the house, it has a Japanese feel. I think I'll stay again when I visit​ Kawagoe.
